InformationPoliciesExchange/Return PolicyItems purchased from J. H. Revell Jewelers & Goldsmiths may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase, for store credit or exchange only. Merchandise must be in original and unworn condition and accompanied by the store receipt and original gift box with all warranty cards and explanation booklets intact. Closeouts, special orders, altered pieces (including ring sizing) and custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.Special OrdersWe regret that special orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made. All special orders require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered at the client's request.Custom WorkCustom designed jewelry involves metals, gems, and labor furnished by J. H. Revell Jewelers & Goldsmiths for a specific client. As such, all custom jewelry is nonrefundable, and requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit before the work begins. Every effort will be made by J. H. Revell Jewelers & Goldsmiths to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client's complete satisfaction. Minor adjustments, such as ring sizing or texturing will gladly be made by J. H. Revell Jewelers & Goldsmiths to accommodate the wearer at either a modest fee or at no charge depending on the extent of the work involved.Returned ChecksReturned checks will be assessed a $25.00 fee.Cleaning and InsepectionWe recommend you have your jewelry cleaned and inspected at least every 3-4 months. We will be happy to do this for you at no charge.RepairsWe are not responsible for altered gemstones left for repair, custom design, or appraisal. This includes, but is not limited to, diamonds or false stampings on metal goods which may be mismarked. In regard to watch repair: Rust and/or abuse will void any warranty. We will not be responsible for any article left for more than 60 days.Layaway Policy:Most items may be put on layaway with a 20% deposit. Layaway accounts are set up with 4 different terms, based on the amount of the purchase price. I will make four / six / nine / twelve equal monthly payments of $ ____________. The final payment is due on ____________. The item must be paid in full within the layaway period or the item will be returned to stock. The deposits and payments are non-refundable and cannot be transferred as credit to another item.
